Ingredients
- 1 tbsp grapeseed oil or ghee
- 1 onion chopped
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp turmeric
- red pepper flakes to taste
- 1/2 tsp ground coriander and cumin
- 1 block hard tofu cut into small cubes
- 1 cup peas (I used frozen)
- fresh coriander chopped for garnish (optional)
- 1 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice

Instructions
- Heat oil or ghee on medium heat in a heavy pan
- Cook the onions until translucent. Stirring occasionally.
- Add salt, turmeric, and pepper flakes and stir.
- Add the tofu and stir until mixed. Cover and reduce the heat to low for 15 minutes stirring occasionally. If the mixture becomes dry, add some water.
- Add the peas and cook until peas are heated and cooked.
- Add the ground coriander, cumin, lemon juice and fresh coriander.
- Stir until mixed and serve.
- Can also be served with cooked rice or noodles.
