This is a recipe you will want to keep in your back pocket. These no bake squares have a sweet, almond nutty crust with a caramel centre and smooth cacao glaze. The sweetness comes from the dates and maple syrup. Every bite is pure decadence. My version is gluten and free. It assembles in less than 30 minutes and tastes like pure indulgence. Crust
  1. Line a pan with parchment paper.
  2. Place almonds in a food processor and process into a powder.
  3. Add dates and process until combined and sticky.
  4. Press the almond mixture into the pan and refrigerate.
Filling
  1. Place all filling ingredients in a medium bowl and mix until blended and smooth.
  2. Pour the filling onto the crust and smooth the top.
Topping
  1. Place all the ingredients into a medium bowl and mix until completely blended and smooth.
  2. Spread onto the filling.
  3. Refrigerate for several hours (2-3 hours) until completely set.
  4. Remove from the fridge and cut into squares just before serving.
