A ready good tahini sauce is creamy, rich, tangy, nutty and velvety smooth. There should be just enough garlic to enhance the overall flavour but if you like it garlicky then add more.
This tahini sauce adds flavour to anything! Use it on salads, vegetables both fresh and roasted, falafels, flatbreads or use it as an irresistible dip for virtually everything.
The sauce is so easy to make. Blend the lemon juice and garlic into a smooth paste and let rest for 5 minutes so the flavours infuse.
Add in the tahini and spices and blend until a combined. Then add in the water a little at a time until the mixture is velvety smooth and creamy. Transfer into a serving bowl and enjoy!

- 1/4 Cup Tahini
- 1/8 Cup Water
- 1/8 Cup Lemon Juice
- 1 Clove garlic
- 1/4 Teaspoon Himalayan salt (or pink salt)
- 1/4 Teaspoon Cumin powder
- Squirt Chilli sauce Optional

- Blend the lemon juice and garlic into a paste. Let rest for 10 minutes. Then add all the remaining ingredient except the water and blend. Add in the water a little at a time, blending after each addition, until smooth and velvety.
- Taste the sauce and adjust it to your preference and enjoy!
